Fayidha Restaurant
About This Spot
Stepping into Fayidha Restaurant on Kim Keat Road feels like slipping into a vibrant local refuge where the night pulses gently beneath warm, soft lighting. This casual Indian Muslim eatery, open around the clock, carries a rhythm that flows differently depending on the hour—calm and unhurried in the afternoon, gradually awakening into a lively, convivial mood after dark. The steady hum of chatter, punctuated by the clatter of plates and the friendly exchanges with the attentive staff, creates a familiar comfort that invites lingering and sharing stories over good food.
The pace here is unpretentious and relaxed, making it an easy spot for a quiet lunch break or a spirited midnight supper with friends. Its welcoming atmosphere is shaped not only by the steady stream of regulars but also by the considerate service that subtly understands the varying moods of its guests, whether they come for a simple cup of milky teh tarik or a more elaborate, hearty meal.
With each visit, the menu feels like a gentle journey through rich culinary traditions, where the aromas of spices hold a promise of homely satisfaction. Soft, flaky prata comes served with faces of sweet, savory, or even unexpected fillings—like a twist of chocolate or banana mingling with cheese—each bite revealing layers of comfort and creativity. Beyond the breads, one can sense the kitchen’s steady hands in vibrant noodle dishes tossed with bold flavors, or in slow-simmered curries that invite dipping and sharing. The drinks, from creamy apple shakes to fragrant lemon juices, feel thoughtfully crafted to complement every dish, heightening the overall experience.
Fayidha’s appeal grows most tangible in the night, where it morphs into a gathering place for friends and night owls drawn to its effortless energy and the satisfying warmth of its food. But the spirit here remains steady, shaped equally by moments of quiet indulgence and lively communal chatter. It’s a place that hums quietly with local life, where generous portions meet honest flavors and welcoming smiles, making you feel part of a familiar story unfolding one plate at a time.

I tried the bird nest prata with mutton curry at this restaurant, and it was tasty, though a bit pricey. The whole meal cost $16.60. Wonder how much the mutton curry was ? I should have asked when paying.

A nice hidden spott for night life buddies. 24 hour open restaurant with a lot of varieties of foods. Option for Indian & Malay cuisine. Both time (day & night)I visited here . But I preferred more night time for others here . Becoz more vibe @ night time only . There service, staff & food more good @ night time . based on this never think the day time team is bad they are also good but the night team is more friendly & better service. One more thing is all food is daily preparing & fresh . Recommending for family, hangout groups, night life buddies, traveling groups etc.... If u want good foods in cheap rate go for this.

Delicious, authentic food with huge portions at unbelievably low prices. The sweetest staff ever—my go-to spot for lunch and dinner here in Singapore! PS: it’s Halal!
